Iron Mountain Park
Dahlonega, GA
Renowned as Georgia's largest, family-friendly off-road park and camping destination, Iron Mountain Park is not to be missed! Located just north of Atlanta in Dahlonega, Georgia, it offers 150 miles of trails that wind through over 4,000 acres of dense forest. Don’t have your own powersports vehicle? No worries! ATV rentals are available – as well as cabins and campsites for overnight stays. Or simply buy a day pass and head home to Augusta (just over three hours away) when you’ve had your fill of adventure.
Durhamtown Off-Road Park
Union Point, GA
Traverse over 150 miles of one-way trails as well as acres of freestyle courses. There’s even an on-site repair shop if you ride a little too hard. On-site camping sites, cabins, a restaurant, and rentals are available as well – perfect for families with an adventurous side!
Fat Daddys ATV Park
Waycross, GA
With over 500 acres of ATV trails, sand and mud courses, Fat Daddys welcomes all skill levels. And because the best adventures leave you muddy and mussed, they have ATV wash stations and shower facilities available!
Oakey Mountain OHV Recreation Area
Eager for a little change in elevation? Oakey Mountain, located near Lake Burton and Lake Rabun, offers rugged, two-way trails open to OHV's with axle widths under 48 inches. Keep in mind that terrain ranges from intermediate to rocky and steep, so they’re not as beginner-friendly as other ATV parks. Both day and annual passes are available.
Highland Park Resort
Cedartown, Georgia
Explore 90 miles of trails on your ATV, UTV, or dirt bike – for just $40 a day (UTV) or $35 a day (ATV). If you’d like to spend the night and hit the trails refreshed in the morning, there are a few cabins available. All experience levels welcome!
Beasley Knob Trail
Blairsville, GA
For intermediate and advanced riders up for a challenge, this trail system can be found off Highway 76 in Union County, GA. Over 13 miles of trail takes you over water, rocks, and hills – ideal for thrill-seeking ATV, dirt bike, and 4x4 enthusiasts. Day passes cost just $5 and annual passes are available.
Moccasin Creek Off-Road Park
Blackshear, GA
Eight miles of pristinely maintained trails cut through 500 acres of private land, with mud and water crossings to up the ante! All for just $35 a day! There’s also full RV hook-ups with heated bathrooms available for all guests, hiking trails, and a kid zone. Talk about fun for the whole family!
Possum Creek Off-Road Park
Ray City, GA
Possum Creek is perfect for beginners, featuring trails that are great to learn on. Far from boring though, they feature mud bogs, play pits, hill climbs, and water crossings – open to all off-road vehicles! While primitive camping sites are available too, please note that the park is only open on the second and fourth weekends of the month. We recommend calling ahead or checking their social media for updates on events, live music, etc.
